Q: How to turn on monitoring options?

A:  

- Normal / supported way (via Rapid.Space Panel)

The recommended method is to use the Rapid.Space Panel:

All monitoring-related parameters are configured in the eNB service.

Open How To Manage Your BBU and RU on the Rapid.Space Panel and follow the steps to modify your parameters from the panel.

After you save your changes, the device will automatically reload and apply the new configuration within about 5 minutes.

- Experimental way

You can change log options from the Amarisoft Web GUI (see: OutOfBox WebGui documentation).

Connect to the GUI as described in How To Use eNB / gNB Websocket (Amarisoft GUI and API).   

Note for advanced users with root access:

• Some root customers may have com_log_lock enabled. This will prevent the Web GUI from changing log options. You can check this flag in your enb.cfg.
• If you have root access, you can still edit log_options directly in the config files. But do this carefully, as invalid settings can break logging or even the service.
