This tutorial will show you how to manage your ORS offline

Access the Offline Management GUI (Offline Panel)

Here are the steps to access the Offline Management GUI:

  • Make sure your ORS is offline, if the ORS can connect to the panel the offline management GUI will have no effect, it will use the panel instead as reference
  • Plug your laptop on the same LAN as the ORS
  • Access the URL sent to you by email with the following format: https://[GUI_IP]:4000/panel/ (make sure you don't have VPS or other network proxy running)
  • You should see the core-network instance and gnb instance, for now you can only modify the parameters of theses services, SIM Card creation / deletion is not yet possible

Update parameters

To change the parameters of an instance, go to the offline panel, click on the instance you want to update, click on "Update parameters", change the parameters as you want and click again on the orange button "Update Parameters". Do not expect any confirmation message. After updating the parameters, wait a few minutes until you see your parameter has been updated into the connection parameters.

Warning: if your ORS is online updating parameters will not do anything

Warning: when your ORS goes back online all changes done offline will be lost and the ORS will revert to what is configured online

Access Offline Monitoring

Here are the steps to access the Offline Monitoring:

  • Go to the offline panel
  • Click on the instance you want to monitor
  • Search for "monitor-setup-url" in the connection parameters
  • Click on the monitor setup url
  • The first you access the offline monitoring app, a warning will appear, please ignore it
    • For instance on google chrome, "Potential Security Risk Ahead" message will appear, you have to click Advanced -> Accept the Risk and Continue
  • Wait until the synchronization finishes
  • Everything should be green (unless you have recently modified a parameter in the last few minutes)

Access Offline Amarisoft GUI

Here are the steps to access the Offline Amarisoft GUI:

  • Go to the offline panel
  • Click on the gNB instance
  • Search for the following connection parameters:
    • "amarisoft.app-url"
    • websocket.hostname
    • websocket.port
  • Click on the amarisoft app URL
  • Then, click on "Server", in "Address" enter the IPv6 from the websocket.hostname parameter, in "Port" enter the port from websocket.port parameter, and do not check SSL
  • The GUI should be able to connect to the gNB

You can also get websocket.hostname and websocket.port in the core network connection parameters and add it in the Offline Amarisoft GUI
