Day 1: Introduction, Setup, and Health Service Deployment

  • Step-by-step instructions on adding a computer node.

Cable Switching and Physical Setup

 

  • How to connect cables between BBUs and RUs. Adding RUs based on SDR board specifications and SFP port on CPRI cards.
90 minutes Participants will connect cables between a BBU and RU based on a physical diagram and confirm the proper setup in the panel.

Step-by-Step Commissioning Using GUI and MML Tools

 

  • Access services and servers, adjust settings (eNB ID, MME list, PLMN list), and make minor changes to bandwidth and frequency.

90 minutes Participants will explain how to configure Fluentbit for data collection. (if possible, participants show how it works on their fluentbit server). KPI is demostrated on wendelin.

Event Logging

 

  • Introduction to event logging, its importance, and transitioning into the Monitor App. how to access logs, synchronize services, and interpret promise lists.
  • Practice: Check logs of the health service.
90 minutes Participants will access health service logs and identify specific log entries that pertain to recent service actions.
Participants will use the Monitor App to view real-time logs, synchronize service statuses, and interpret promise entries to confirm system health.
